April 29th, 2011 - Piano LT - Vilnius, Lithuania - My first collaboration with my wife and composer Zibuokle Martinaityte.

This first collaboration between husband and wife makes an attempt to expose and recognize the unknown terrain that travels and transforms through the infinite variety of inner landscapes and eventually beyond the dimensions of clarity. This piece explores how one being fully relating to another being provides a multitude of growth, challenge and joy. Working with live electronics, the composers are mirroring 2 cellos represented by a modelled partnership in addition to visually reactive light cubes that respond to touch and are afected by sound. While interacting with instruments in real time, music is reflected back into the sound space, demonstrating a view into the often-surprising spontaneity that human and musical collaboration offer, which consciously and unconsciously, controlled and at times with chaos, sends the mind into infinite and endless space.

Composed by Zibuokle Martinaityte and True Rosaschi for 2 Cellos, Piano, Tape, Live Electronics and Audio Cubes.

Performed by Cello Duo - Duo Violoncellissimo [Ukraine] and Pianist Neringa Butkute [Lithuania].

Duo Violoncellissimo was created in 1995 and based in Odessa (Ukraine), Duo Violoncellissimo is dedicated in part to resurrecting forgotten or rarely performed works from the last centruries, primarily of Baroque and Classical composers. Not less important, they have been active supporters of increasing the contemporary cello duo repertoire, widely promoting numerous new compositions written by composers from various countries.
